The primary objective of this project was to create an accurate 3D BIM Revit model of the chapel's dome, a task that required not only technical expertise but also sensitivity to the dome's historical and architectural significance. The model served as the foundation for extracting DWG files, which were instrumental in the creation of shop drawings for the replacement of the dome's aged copper roof. This phase was critical, as it ensured that the new copper sheets were fabricated with precision, maintaining the dome's original aesthetic while ensuring its longevity.

Given the project's location on government property, MYND Workshop navigated a complex web of regulations and security protocols. The team obtained all necessary clearances for both personnel and equipment, ensuring that every aspect of the operation, from laser scanners to drones, complied with stringent security requirements. This meticulous attention to procedural detail underscored MYND's commitment to respecting the operational norms of the Naval Academy while executing a project of this magnitude.
